Spring Time Treats

I know most of you have heard of ants on a log, I have never like celery so this has NEVER appealed to me... HOWEVER! Have you heard of Apple Ladybugs? They are so simple and sound so much more appealing..... give it a try!

Ingredients:
1 red apples
1/8 cup raisins
4 mini pretzel sticks
peanut butter

Directions:
Slice apples in half from top to bottom, and scoop out the cores with a melon baller or knife. Place each apple half face down on a plate. Using dollops of peanut butter as a 'glue', add raisins to the apple skin to form the ladybug's dots and eyes. Insert pretzel sticks into apple as antennae for the finishing touch!

Some of my ideas:
Instead of raisins, use dried blueberries or chocolate chips
Use a green apple to mix it up a little
Use cream cheese instead of peanut butter
