Have some old branches laying around your yard? I used some of our old branches at a baby shower I hosted this weekend. We hung white lights and lanterns off of them for a special touch. How cute would they be in a "fairy themed" room or a "forest themed" nursery? Obviously you don't have to go as big as I did, but you can spruce up your house for spring by putting branches in a vase with a sweet nest or birds perches on a branch.... oh the possibilities.

Your house looked amazing! I loved all the branches you had in your house for the baby shower.
ReplyDeleteSo cool Jamie Sue! Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! I have the same thing at my house! Not as tall, though--they were from a tree that my sister planted almost 10 years ago for her first daughter. The tree is enormous now, and 3 years ago we cut and dried a bunch of branches, stuck them in a wicker vase w/rocks to anchor them, and now it's one of my favorite parts of our living room! I love how you hung the lamps--adorable!!!
