I still cringe when I think about it! Oh well. My son is four and a half, and a couple of the toys were from HIS baby shower! I think it was time to say goodbye. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you hear what the guy said about the bath water being a soup of bacteria that is from the kids' bodies? I think the only way we can really remedie this is to throw out our kids!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if washing them in bleach after every few uses helps. I don't use them anymore, but when I did I would soak them in bleach water if they were squirt toys I made sure bleach water got inside also. Or..maybe just sticking to regular old measuring cups is the way to go. My kids love those in the bath. ;) Just throw them in a dishwasher after each use. I dont think I can commit to no baths ever again. ;)
ReplyDeletehummm we are not dead yet! I give Zack showers every now and then but think that I am depriving him of bath time. Maybe I am doing him good! I don't think I can take this away from him. I will just have to put his toys in the washer machine every now and then.
ReplyDeleteEvery other week or so I'd fill the tub with water and a few capfulls of bleach, then soak the toys.
